Jay-Z announced yesterday that the awful New Jersey basketball team shall keep their name. He also said that he will perform a series of concerts, to help publicity. I don't know how the Nets will do in Brooklyn, but I know that Jay Z knows how to make money better than anyone else in the world and I would be stoked to have him on my side. Jay Z is a millionaire and being backed up by a Russian bazillionaire, so I can't wait to see their marketing schemes.
The Nets are headed in the right direction with Deron Williams Brook Lopez, drafting Marshon Brooks and having Kris Humphries. But like many teams the lock out will dictate the future.
