Cuddyer To Red Sox?
JD Drew is gone, and the Red Sox could have a hole in right field unless they plan on using their young guys to fill it. Could Michael Cuddyer fit that role for the Sox. I think he could. He isn't the greatest outfielder ever, but he is decent enough and Fenway has a pretty short outfield. On top of that he can play 1st, 2nd, and 3rd also. That could give the Sox depth in case someone goes down. Something the Red Sox lacked last season. He is also a pretty good hitter (.284 20 HRs 70 RBI this year), and he could be even better at Fenway.
He is 32 years old, but if the Sox could sign him to a 2 year deal I think he could be an excellent fit.
