And Your Super Bowl Halftime Performer Is...
Madonna? WTF?
"Madonna will reportedly perform at halftime of Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium. That's according to our friend Andrew Sharp at SBNation, who dropped the bombshell about the material girl this morning (CBS)."
Halftime performances have been lame for a long time now, so I guess this shouldn't be took shocking, but what is this 1986? I mean when was the last time Madonna did anything other then adopt some poor African kid? Last time I remember her was the Austin Powers music video for Beautiful Stranger and even that was made in 1999.
Then again, who do you want up there? They aren't going to have a bunch of "edgy" rappers, so you can kiss Eminem goodbye. I am actually glad it's not Lil' Wayne. I guess Jay-Z could fit. Him and Beyonce would be a great fit, but she is all preggo, so it's maybe not the best time.
There is really no good rock anymore, and they already used up most of the top old rockers (Rolling Stones, The Who, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, ect). I guess you could try to go early 90's and get like Pearl Jam or something, since they just did that 20 years of Pearl Jam thing. Other then that who else you got? Foo Fighters?
IDK, maybe I am drawing a blank, but I do have to say I'm surprised it's not Katy Perry, since she just broke a bunch of MJ's records.
