First time I had seen one of these movies in the theater. It was pretty fucking scary. I am not going to give you much of the plot, because it's better that way, but the movie is set in the 1980's when the main characters from the first 2 movies are kids.
Like usual they set up cameras throughout the house to figure out what's going on. I felt the biggest victory for this movie was the use of a camera that was setup on the oscillating fan, so you would see something in one room, but would have to wait for it to revolve back, which takes like 10 secs, but seems more like a minute. During that time your brain basically freaks out.
Overall, the movie is really good. I agree with DP that I thought the 2nd one was better, but if you liked the first 2 this doesn't disappoint. If you didn't like the first two, then why the hell are you seeing he 3rd one anyways?
Oh and if you're excepting anything from the trailer to be in it. It's not, and that really shouldn't bother you, because it makes it better.
