The super yacht that comes with its own VOLCANO: Multi-million pound boat which is a paradise island

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Luxury: This yacht will soon be cruising the oceans with its very own floating tropical islands

This is the next super-yacht set to hit the world's oceans - which comes complete with its own functioning volcano and floating tropical islands.

The vessel - dubbed the 'Tropical island Paradise' - has been designed by British boat builders Yacht Island Design, from Derby, Derbys - some 90 miles from the sea.

The extravagant 295ft ship boasts a towering volcano with a cascading waterfall which feeds the swimming pool.

Spectacular: There is also a huge helicopter landing pad for those quick trips to shore

And playboys will feel right at home with the ships helicopter landing pad and huge bar set behind a series of beach cabanas.

Studio director Rob McPherson at the Derbyshire firm, who have also created the Streets of Monaco super-yacht, said: 'The exterior was designed to give the impression of waves breaking around a volcanic island, whilst maintaining the look of a contemporary yacht design.

'It comes with its own private beach cove and a waterfall cascading down from a volcano.

'This design centres around a secluded island paradise, with elements inspired by the islands of the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Polynesia. It is set to be a big hit when it comes onto the market.'

The lavish yacht can accommodate up to 10 guests - and can travel along at a top speed of 15 knots.

The main deck is a secluded beach 'cove' of cabanas surrounding a massive ocean view swimming pool.

And should the millionaire future owners get tired of taking a dip in the pool, they can sail out into the sea on their very own floating island complete with deck chairs and palm trees.

McPherson added: 'We had two reasons for designing such a boat. The first being that it's good fun, and secondly the current market is pretty saturated with designs that look fairly similar.

'Our mission is to work on incredibly fun designs and carve a niche for ourselves within the market, a place where other designers fear to tread.'

Inside the huge, towering volcano is a cinema, library, games room, gym, spa and VIP suites - including an owners pad spread over two decks.

The boat - which has yet to hit the market and hasn't had a price set - is causing waves in the boat building world with its unique design.

Seems like only yesterday, dear: The Queen and Duchess of Cambridge relive glorious royal wedding day with private viewing of THAT dress

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Admiration: The Queen talks with the Duchess of Cambridge as they view the wedding dress the Duchess wore during her April marriage to Prince William

The Queen today enjoyed a private viewing of the Duchess of Cambridge’s stunning wedding gown with Kate ahead of a public showing of the dress at Buckingham Palace.

More than half a million people are expected to view the dress as part of the Palace’s annual summer exhibition this year, but her Majesty was give her own tour by the Duchess.

The pair chatted as they admired the £250,000 Alexander McQueen dress which had the world enthralled when Kate married Prince William in April.

Viewing: The Duchess of Cambridge arrives at Buckingham Palace with Her Majesty, The Queen, to see the wedding dress and cake before both go on public display

Amid the pomp and splendour of a truly unforgettable day, The Dress was undoubtedly the star of the show.

But the ghost-like appearance of the headless mannequin used to exhibit the gown prompted her to describe it as 'horrible' during a private tour with Kate of a new Buckingham Palace exhibition.

The Queen and the Duchess were given a sneak preview of the exhibition, which opens to the public tomorrow.

One is spooked: The Queen was heard to describe the headless mannequin as 'horrible'

The monarch led the way and, with her hands clasped behind her back, strode into the Ballroom and stopped about 10 feet from the dress with Kate standing beside her.

As the pair chatted, the pitch of the Queen's voice raised and she said 'horrible' and then 'horrid'.

It appeared the mannequin's lack of a head may have perturbed the Queen, who added: 'It's made to look very creepy.'

Kate countered with her own view and said it had a '3D effect'.

The dress is to take pride of place at Buckingham Palace’s annual summer exhibition this year, ensuring we can bask in the afterglow of Kate and William’s wedding day just that little bit longer.

It's a hard life: Tamara Ecclestone gets helicopter to shops from daddy's yacht in Monaco whilst on holiday with Petra

By JODY THOMPSON

Clunk click: Tamara Ecclestone straps herself in to get a lift in a helicopter from the yacht where she's staying in Monaco to the shore

Billionaire heiress Tamara Ecclestone took relaxation to a sky-high new level on holiday yesterday - she saved her legs from a tiring walk to the designer stores by getting a HELICOPTER to nip to the shops.

Tamara caught a Heli Air Monaco flight whilst relaxing with her sister Petra on their Formula 1 boss father's luxury yacht moored off the coast of Monaco.

At least the previously bikini-clad Tamara covered up - a bit at least - for her spot of retail therapy, pulling on a pair of tiny denim cut-off shorts, pink vest and cuffed sandals.

Up and away: The heiress can afford to avoid public transport or a dodgy dinghy to go shopping

However, while most mere mortals put up with a canvas beach bag that smells vaguely of mouldy towels on our summer hols, Tam was proudly sporting an expensive cream designer handbag.

Perhaps she was popping out on her own to buy a last-minute minute wedding present for her sister, who's walking down the aisle in a few weeks.

They've been joined by their boyfriends on their summer break and have been hard at work deepening their already teak-coloured tans on deck.

Back on dry land: Tamara may have been taking advantage of Monaco's designer stores to buy a last-minute wedding gift for sister Petra

Earlier, Tamara was seen basking in a tiny silver and white tie-sided bikini, while Petra had plumped for a top piece with a pale blue top and multi-coloured bottoms.

At one point, they both grabbed bottles of water from the on-board ice bucket, having worked up a thirst while sat round the on-deck pool on the boat, called Force One.

Petra is making sure that her tan is in ship shape for her wedding next month - and it appears that Tamara may be following in her younger sister's lead.

Luxury stay: The pair are staying on their Formula 1 boss father's superyacht

She appeared to be accessorising her swimsuit with a earlier in the week with a huge sparkler on her ring finger.

Younger sibling Petra, 22, is engaged to her beau of four years businessman James Stunt and the pair are walking down the aisle in a few weeks.

Tamara, 27, is currently dating Omar Khyami a 37-year-old stockbroker.

Ready for its encore: Kate's wedding gown we all fell in love with goes on display

By REBECCA ENGLISH and TAMARA COHEN

Showstopper: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, wearing the dress in all its glory, emerge from Westminster Abbey on their wedding day

Amid the pomp and splendour of a truly unforgettable day, The Dress was undoubtedly the star of the show.

And just like the most gracious stars, the Duchess of Cambridge’s stunning wedding gown is returning for an encore.

Those of us who admired it from the comfort of our sofas at home, can now see the £250,000 Alexander McQueen dress right up close – if we can get our hands on what is rapidly becoming the hottest ticket in town.

Fit for a Duchess: Kate Middleton's stunning wedding gown is going on display at the weekend, alongside other items from the big day

The dress is to take pride of place at Buckingham Palace’s annual summer exhibition this year, ensuring we can bask in the afterglow of Kate and William’s wedding day just that little bit longer.

While most brides carefully wrap their bridal gowns in tissue paper and store them away with their memories, Kate’s will be shared with the nation all over again.

Beauty in the detail: 58 gazar buttons run from the collar to the waist on the gown, while Kate's veil is made of soft ivory silk tulle and stitched with flowers

In fact visitors can relive every joyful moment of the day, with everything from the Duchess’s veil to her shoes and even the royal wedding cake on display.

Record demand means advance ticket sales are more than double on last year’s summer opening, with 600,000 people paying £17.50 per ticket to troop through the doors over the next ten weeks.

That would comfortably beat the palace’s previous highest attendance of 420,000 in 1994.

Here, the Daily Mail, which was offered an exclusive tour yesterday, can reveal the treasures in store for the first visitors this Saturday.

Something borrowed: This 1936 Cartier tiara was loaned to Kate by Queen and contains 1,000 glittering diamonds

Icing on the cake: The top three layers of the cake are replicas, with two saved for the couple's first child's Christening, as tradition dictates

The first cut: The mark made by the couple using a ceremonial sword is clearly visible on the bottom tier of the cake

Twinkle toes: The duchess's hand-stitched shoes were designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen and are size five-and-a-half

Bouquet of memories: A silk replica of Kate's flowers include sweet william, myrtle, lily of the valley and hyacinth

Little acorns: The Duchess's diamond earrings were a present from her parents for the wedding, and bare acorns as a nod to her family's new coat of arms

Spectacular: Pippa Middleton carries the train of her sister's gown, which was designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen and described as being sized 'small' by the exhibition's curator

However, look closely among the sugary flowers on the bottom tier and you can see the mark left by the ceremonial sword the couple used to cut it – an unbroken link to a magical day.

The Royal Wedding Dress: A Story of Great British Design runs until October 3 at Buckingham Palace. Tickets are priced at £17.50 and can be obtained from www.royalcollection.org.uk or 0207 766 7300.

SPOILER ALERT: THIRD gay character in Albert Square, as Ben Mitchell reveals sexuality

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Coming out: Joshua Pascoe, who plays Ben Mitchell, will be the third gay member of the soap

As Coronation Street comes under fire for broadcasting too many gay plotlines, EastEnders introduces its third gay character to Walford.

At just 15-years-old, teenager Ben Mitchell will reveal his true sexuality, devastating his masculine father Phil in the process.

Actor Joshua Pascoe, who is the fourth actor to play the part of Ben, joins couple Syed Masood and Christian Clarke as 'the only gays in the village'

An EastEnders source told The Mirror: 'Since the day Ben returned to Walford, he’s been a bit of a disappointment for Phil.

'With his love of dancing and musicals, Ben was not cast from the same tough guy mould as his father.

'It’s ironic that Phil’s efforts to turn his son into a mini version of himself backfire spectacularly when he encourages Ben to go boxing with Duncan.'

Homosexual characters: Syed and Christian will empathise with Ben

The insider added: 'But no one could anticipate the chain of events this will spark around Walford as Ben tries to keep his sexuality secret from his father.
'Poor Ben is terrified of Phil’s reaction but the truth will come out, sooner or later.'

The controversial storyline sees Ben and Duncan's relationship blossom when Ben takes a risk by planting a kiss on his friend.
He is stunned when Duncan returns his affections, rather than pushing him away in disgust.

But when Patrick Trueman spots them, Ben is terrified the shopkeeper will tell his father and heads to his mini-mart to intimidate him.

The situation goes from bad to worse when terrified Patrick calls the police, leaving Phil fuming and demanding an apology.

Loyal Patrick refuses to say sorry, but does keeps the truth about Ben.

Fellow EastEnders Syed Masood and Christian Clarke, played by Marc Elliott and John Partridge, caused controversy during a recent scene that saw them lying in bed together, apparently naked beneath the sheets.

Over 100 viewers complained, saying the intimacy was 'inappropriate'.
But the BBC hit back, saying the show has a duty to reflect 'real life'.

Day the sky turned brown: 3,000ft high dust cloud rolls across Arizona AGAIN

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Day the sky turned brown 3,000ft high dust cloud rolls across Arizona AGAIN 1
Now you see Phoenix, now you don't: The 3,000ft dust wall rolls in across the city's suburban areas

Arizona was hit by its second giant dust storm in two weeks yesterday, turning the sky brown, delaying flights and causing mayhem for motorists, with llow visibility causing an eight-truck crash.

The dust storm, known as a haboob, formed in Pinal County and headed north-east, engulfing Phoenix at about 5:30 pm.

The monster dust wall was about 3,000 feet high and created winds of 25 to 30 mph, with gusts of up to 40 mph, said Austin Jamison, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

Plane-ly massive: The dust storm rolls in across the Phoenix's Sky Harbor International Airport , travelling north

Day the sky turned brown 3,000ft high dust cloud rolls across Arizona AGAIN 4
Disruption: The haboob caused some flights at Sky Harbor International to be delayed, but the consensus is that the July 5 storm was much worse

‘You have suddenly very poor visibilities that come on with all the dense dust in the air,’ he said. ‘With poor visibility, that makes for dangerous driving conditions and that's arguably the biggest impact.’

This low visibility led to eight trucks colliding on Interstate 8. Three drivers were transported by ambulance to Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix and seven other people refused treatment. The west bound lanes were closed so workers could clear the road.

Meanwhile, some departing flights at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport were delayed because of the storm, said airport spokeswoman Julie Rodriguez.

Incoming flights from nearby cities including Los Angeles were being held until the storm cleared, she said. She did not know how many flights were delayed or whether any were cancelled.

Is anybody out there? The gigantic storm created havoc for drivers with visibility severely reduced - perhaps it might have been wise for this motorist to turn on his lights?

House about that: A vehicle drives through a brown cloud of blowing sand in one of Phoenix's residential areas

Another giant dust storm in Arizona on July 5 caught the attention of the world.

That storm brought a mile-high wall of dust that halted airline flights, knocked out power for hundreds of people and turned swimming pools into mud pits.

Jamison said Monday's storm was not as powerful or as large as the last one, and didn't last as long.

‘It's kind of like a ripple in a pond where it spreads out, slows down and fades out,’ he said.

Rodriguez said visibility at the airport was better yesterday than it was during the July 5 event, a 5,000ft-high storm that grounded flights for 45 minutes, downed trees, tossed yard furniture, and snuffed out visibility across an area of some 50 miles at its peak.

Day the sky turned brown 3,000ft high dust cloud rolls across Arizona AGAIN 9
Looming: The storm towers over Phoenix and threatens to block out the blue sky completely. It brought with it gusts of wind that hit 40mph

The National Weather Service office in Phoenix called the dust storm 'very large and historic', in a statement posted on its website, describing the blow as an 'impressive event'.

Weather officials say haboobs only happen in Arizona, the Sahara desert and parts of the Middle East because of dry conditions and large amounts of sand.

Pollution levels skyrocket during dust storms and create even more breathing problems for people with asthma and other similar conditions.

The dust also brings increases in a disease known as Valley Fever, a fungal pneumonia.

Valley Fever thrives in the hot and arid south-west in dirt found just a few feet beneath the earth's surface; it can be stirred up by construction, wind and other activity.

William and Kate move into a 'modest' Kensington Palace flat

By REBECCA ENGLISH

Will the Prince carry Kate over the threshold? The Royal couple finally move in to their starter home

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have finally moved into Kensington Palace, their first official royal residence as a married couple.

They have chosen to embark on married life in a ‘modest’ apartment in the palace where William once lived with his late mother.

Although their home boasts one of the most exclusive postcodes in the country, it is a fraction of the size of the five-bedroom, five-reception-room suite occupied by new neighbours, Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Home sweet home: Kensington Palace, where the couple have moved into an apartment

And when the couple got the builders in to add a few basic mod-cons, they discovered the place was riddled with asbestos and had wiring so archaic that it was considered too dangerous to inhabit.

Until now, William and Kate have used the Clarence House apartment that the prince shared with his brother, Prince Harry, when in London.

But senior royal sources confirmed the Cambridges had moved all their furniture into the renovated Palace apartment and stayed there for a couple of nights last week.

When planking goes wrong: Woman smashes chin on cooker attempting to pose for photo

By OLIVER PICKUP

Big mistake: The woman places her hands on the oven door to perform her 'plank'

This women has become an internet sensation after her planking prank went painfully wrong.

The unidentified woman, believed to be an American, is shown trying to pose for a planking picture in her kitchen, when the oven collapses on top of her.

Trying to be as straight as possible - as 'planking' rules dictate - the women inadvertently grabs the cooker door handle, which swings open pulling the whole thing down.

She smacks her chin on both the hob and the oven door before both human and machine crumple in a heap on the kitchen floor.

Going, going... : The door swings open and the cooker begins to head downwards as the poor woman smacks her chin on the hob

Miraculously the women escapes with only a bruised chin (and ego), and she manages to finally achieve her 'plank' by being snapped balancing the other way in the kitchen.

While the woman struggles on the floor - with the cooker on top of her - the person videoing the escapade does not rush to help, but laughs uncontrollably.

Crash down: The woman is left - miraculously largely unharmed - with the cooker on top of her after the planking attempt badly fails

The video, which has already attracted thousands of hits since it was posted on YouTube on July, has also received numerous comments.

One viewer, dt6197, said: 'lmao im sorry but she had this coming, like one why plank in the first place, two, why in the hell would u plank in the damn kitchen?!'

Success at last: Finally the women, having dusted herself off, achieves a plank in the kitchen by changing ends - and pretty impressive it is too

Classic plank: The fad has taken off worldwide and involves some very amusing photographs - the wackier, the better

Just hangin’ by the pool: Summer posers caught mid-air in new photography craze

By LOUISE BOYLE

Catch me if you can: One participant in the latest craze leisure diving takes a beer down with him

They call it the 'leisure dive' - and it's coming to a pool near you this summer.

Following the craze of planking which swept the internet, a website has flourished after compiling hilarious pictures of divers striking a comedy pose in mid-air before they hit the water.

With the motto, 'live and let dive', the site recommends just how to get the most out of your split-second posing.

Swim when you're winning: One diver ramps up the excitement at the country club during cocktail hour

The ideal position is achieved with a diving board, giving swimmers enough height to get their hips parallel to the waterline. If successful then it's a shot worthy of the family album or at the very least, Facebook.

The people behind LeisureDive.com encourage originality but there seems to be a couple of recurring favourite looks.

The most common is the hand on the hip, with a quizzical look and grasping a beer, book or bizarrely a croquet mallet.

Patriot games: One girl flies the flag while a crowd of friends cheer her effort

Leisure diving looks set to take the place of planking - a phenomenon which involves lying face down in a public place, the weirder the better, and posting photos on social networking sites.

The favourite pose is to lie expressionless with a straight body, hands by the side and toes pointing towards the ground.

The website founders ask for the best leisure dives to be sent to them - http://www.leisuredive.com/index.php - to be ranked against other competitors in the new craze.

And although it could make you incredibly popular on the internet, it's unlikely to do so with other holidaymakers relaxing at the hotel pool.

Red-hot trend: A girl strikes an elegant mid-air pose before crashing into the pool

Cool and the gang? Perhaps this group of young men have a little too much time on their hands

The double dive: Two friends take a perfectly synchronised plunge

Morning wake-up call: One diver finds added refreshment to his morning coffee

Chilling by the pool: All that's missing is the hammock

Perfect poise: This heavily tattooed gentleman puts full concentration into his work

Parting shot: A smartly dressed young man takes his tennis racket for a dip

Taking your friends down with you: Some well-rehearsed arm work makes for a quality picture

Going wild: One swimmer proves that the leisure dive need not be contained to the pool as he soars above a lake

Springing into action: One leisure diver shows how it's done (tiny trunks and poser shades optional)

Anyone for croquet? That's one way to make it more exciting...

Making a splash: Fear not if your garden doesn't have a pool, leisure diving can still be achieved with a little improvisation
