I'm surprised it took this long, but I'm glad Affleck and Damon are coming together to make it. I do think that they pull of the Boston accent, attitude, etc off better than a majority of people.
Damon will be playing Whitey Bulger and Affleck will be someone in his gang. A couple things that I'm concerned for is I hope they don't glorify Whitey, let's not forgt he was a child molester on top of a gangster and let's hope that it's not exactly like The Departed.
Although The Departed was not about Whitey Bulger, it had a lot of similarities, Boston Mobster, having an FBI informant, being in Southie, etc.
I don't know when it will come out, but I bet they do an awesome job.
